Wishing you a Happy New Year from Broadway Bound.

2020 has been difficult for all performing arts organizations and we are no exception. We have had to postpone productions of Mary Poppins due to the Covid pandemic and do not know if we will be able to go ahead with our June 2021 shows. Ideally we want to audition in February/early March and start rehearsing immediately thereafter, but, we will have to wait to see what restrictions are in place at that time.

In the meantime we still need your help and support – Angela, our Administrator, continues to work on investigating and applying for various grants, most of which ask for numbers of memberships in the organization. As we are unable to offer the various incentives at this time (that are outlined in our bylaws for paid members in good standing) we are offering a FREE MEMBERSHIP for each individual and this would still fulfill the requirements of the various granting bodies. One of our major aims is to reduce or eliminate the production fee that we have been charging our cast as well as offering various other “perks” such as discounted tickets, advance seat bookings, discounted clothing etc., but to accomplish this, grant and fund raising monies are needed.

Please join Broadway Bound’s Membership List – we promise not to inundate you with emails but will keep you posted on BB news, special events etc. Please send Angela your name, e-mail address, adult or student status (under 18 is student) and confirmation that you wish to become a Member of BB – remember there is no cost involved. New Board of Directors members as also needed – we meet approximately once each month during the performance season. If you are interested in joining (no previous experience necessary) please let Angela know in your email.
